2 Devils food cake mixes
1 C. shortening
4 eggs
Mix well. Roll into 1" balls (Pampered Chef cookie scoop works great). Place on a greased cookie sheet and bake at 350 for 10 minutes.
Filling:
8 oz. cream cheese
milk as desired
1 tsp vanilla
powdered sugar
Mix all ingredients together until it reaches the right consistency. I usually end up using 1/2+ of powdered sugar. Place filling inbetween 2 cookies.
