Hootannany

I made this for dinner tonight. It is a breakfast thing though. I grew up calling it a Hootananny but some people call it German Pancakes. Call it whatever you want it is YUMMY!

Hootananny

6 eggs
2 cups flour
1 cup milk
1 tsp salt
1 cube butter

* Put cube of butter in 9x13 baking dish and put in oven to melt. Mix eggs, flour, salt and milk together (use hand mixer). Pour on top of melted butter in hot pan and cook at 425 - 15-20min.

Syrup (optional) I always make this homemade syrup to serve it with.

1 cup sugar
1 cube butter
1/2 cup buttermilk

*bring to a boil*

then add:
2 tbs vanilla
1 tbs baking soda

(it bubbles up really high so make sure you use a larger pan)

Serve!!
